Carlos Valles Donate

He has a diploma in band conducting from ‘The Royal Schools of Music in London’ and a Higher Degree in Composition from the Salvador Seguí Superior Conservatory of Music in Castellón.

Since 2012 he begins to complete his studies of direction, composition, harmony and counterpoint at Allegro Internacional Music Academy under the tutelage of the prestigious conductor and composer Ferrer Ferrán. He has also received a scholarship to take composition and conducting courses at Berklee College of Music with teachers Gregory Fritze and Rafa Sanz Espert. He has also attended the composition and conduction course of Oscar Navarro, Saul Gomez, James Barnes, Philip Sparke, Llorenç Mendoza.

In the field of composition he has made several commissioned works, such as the pasodoble of the Fallera Mayor Infantil de Valencia 2015 María Donderis Sanchis, and the pasodoble of the Fallera Mayor de Valencia 2020/2021 Consuelo Llobell. For the 40th provincial music band competition in Castellón, he was commissioned with the required work of the 4th section for 2017. He has obtained different awards such as the second prize in the national pasodobles contest 'Villa de Redován' in 2018 and the 1st Prize in the XII

International Band Directing Contest 'Cueva de Medrano' in 2019.
