Felipe Vicente Manresa

Felipe starts his music studies at the "Musical Art Society La Filarmónica" school of Callosa de Segura (Alicante) and after assiting to several conservatories, it is in Madrid where he attends his classes of Transverse Flute higher studies.

He has accomplished his studies in Orchestra Conductor at the regional school of La Vall d'Albaida (Valencia), under the supervision of Masters José Rafael Pascual Villaplana (Orchestra Director), Ramón García i Soler (Orchestration, Instrumentation, Composition and Musical Computing), Tomás Gilabert (Analysis) and Joan Alborch Mañana (Auditory Education). Within these studies, he has received together with his teachers, several masterclasses from conductors and composers of the national and international bands panoramas; for instance José Miguel Fayós-Jordán, Andrés Valero and Luis Serrano Alarcón among others... Felipe has also accomplished Studies of Composition for Orchestra under the supervision of Ramón García i Soler in the same center.

At present, he is attending Composition lessons under the responsibility of Composer and Conductor Ferrer Ferrán.

As Principal Director, he has occupied the platform at the Tomelloso City Musical Union (Ciudad Real), from September 2011 until August 2016. During this period of time and included in the Concerts Cicle of the Association, he has counted on Radovan Cavallin's and Eusebio Fernández-Villacañas Martín's collaboration as invited performers under his baton among others. Eusebio Fernández-Villacañas Martin was the invited soloist to the premiere in the transcription for orchestra of "Rhapsody in Blue", composed by himself Felipe Vicente Manresa.

In another field, he is Artistic Director and Arranger of the show Symphonic Tribute to Andalusian Rock 2.0, a show with more than 60 members in stage where they pay homage to the genre combining a Rock Band with the Winds Orchestra.

In August 2020, Felipe received the highest award in the XI International Contest of Orchestra Conducting "Cueva de Medrano", included in the XVIII International Course of Orchestra Conducting of Argamasilla del Alba (Ciudad Real).

His works and transcriptions can be found published at "Tot per l'Aire", "Branfor" and "Omnes Bands".
