The work was created at the request of Tuópali Dúo to whom it is dedicated.

Of free structure, the composition is based on the toccata form and tries to reflect the spirit of a brilliant, heroic piece, full of contrasts, interspersing sections of lively movements with slow ones of a static character.

static character. It uses various imitative resources and employs, in a special way, repetitive rhythmic elements in the manner of the old toccatas for keyboard instruments.

All this treated with a language developed from the expanded tonality with jazz influences, minimalist and flamenco twists, which gives a high level of virtuosity both technically and musically to the two performers.
