ATZUCAC

Atzucac for solo Snare Drum is dedicated to Joan Pons Carrascosa and is divided into six independent fragments between them, where a great technical and virtuous level is required of the performer. The different structures take coherence thanks to a small leitmotif that appears in the different fragments of the work. It is structured as a chain form. The fragments are: Introduction, Dance, Paperback, Cadence, Variations and Final. The work investigates the different types of hits on the different percussion areas of the box, thus resulting in a work of great tonal color.
