FIRE

This musical drama, subtitled “En record d’una nit” (In memory of a night), relates an experience the author and his family had that became a source of joy. So the composition is dedicated to the author’s own family who, as he himself says, “deserve it”. It is also a thank you and an ode to friendship inasmuch as a minor musical compensation. The work does not aim to be descriptive, but rather seeks a particular atmosphere that transmits a feeling of anguish and uneasiness to the listener, typical of a stressful situation. Performed for the first time by the Wind Municipal Band of Castelló, conducted by Carlos Garcés Fuentelsaz, on 24th November 2019.
