The work is composed in commemoration of the Centenary of Anna's "Nueva Artística" musical society (1920-2020). This musical society is deeply rooted in my childhood memories when, with some of its young musicians from the decade of the 80, we began our music studies in the conservatory. Since then I have had a very close relationship with most of them, especially with the sadly disappeared Juan García Marín, one of the great trumpeters that has given the Valencian Community. Since then Anna's "New Artistic" has always had a special friendship with me and a special consideration with my work as a composer and conductor. This is why writing this play has been very rewarding for me. The composition is structured as follows: Fanfare-A-B-C-Fanfare. The fanfare tries to emphasize the entire brass section of the band in an engaging dialogue with woods and percussion. The theme A, of casual color and even some small incursion into jazz music aims to give a funny and refreshing character for a music of celebration. Theme B proposes an expressive theme where to show the warmest mars of the sound of the ensemble of winds. Finally and just before the re-exposure of the fanfare, the theme C appears which is a giga written in 6/8 in which, again, an energetic and funny gesture is felt as befits such a special celebration.
