Cinetisme Semperià (Sempere’s Kinetic Art) is composed to commemorate the centenary of artist Eusebio Sempere’s birth. So this piece aims to represent the main artistic ideas that encompass this Onil-born artist’s most significant production. The first section focuses on symbolising his sculptures, often geometric, metal pieces that move under the pressure of an external factor.

The second section symbolises his paintings and screen prints, in which colour and light offer spatial and kinetic possibilities. The work’s title references the artistic movement that Eusebio Sempere promoted in Spain. He was one of the earliest artists to bring the stylistic current of Kinetic Art to the Iberian Peninsula, a forceful aesthetic throughout his production.
