Born in Llíria (Valencia) began studying percussion and piano at the Unió Musical de Llíria and the Professional Conservatory of Music of Llíria, obtaining the Extraordinary End of Professional Degree Award and the Autonomic Music Award (2011).

Over the years, she completed her music career at the Conservatorio Superior de Música of Valencia where she obtained the Extraordinary Prize for Bachelor's Degree. Moving to Bari (Italy), she finished her degree at the Niccolo Piccini Conservatory as a part of the Erasmus program.

She also holds a master's degree in Musical Specialization from the Hochschule für Musik of Detmold (Germany) where she received the highest marks and was specialized in compositions for percussion instruments.

As a percussionist, Maria has been constantly collaborating with several organizations:

-Banda Municipal of Barcelona

-Banda Municipal of Valencia

-Choir of the Generalitat Valenciana

-Orchestra of Reino de Aragón

-Orchestra of Vallés (Barcelona)

-Young National Orchestra of Spain (JONDE)

-Young Orchestra of the Generalitat Valenciana (JOGV) -Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Valencia (OFUV)

Furthermore, she created and performed in two female percussion chamber groups all over the country — Les Percudones and Dreizack Percussion Group — interpreting a large part of her musical works.

Among her compositions, it is noteworthy to mention her works for solo percussion — Kahlo, El color de sus ojos, Origin, This is not a blues ...— and her awarded compositions —Isósceles and Jota de la Jota—. Isósceles is a piece for three percussionists awarded third prize in the VI Percute de Catarroja Chamber Music Contest (2018) and Jota de la jota awarded the Honorable

Mention in the I Rondallas Composition Contest for Valencian traditional dance music (2020).

Early interested in education for equality, she arranged and participated in the educational project Igualemnos with the song Te'n podria dir mil, the main theme of a television program - À Punt Valentes - and the Cordalina Initiation Methods for violin and viola.

She currently combines her compositions and musical performances with teaching music in Secondary Education as a civil servant for the Generalitat Valenciana.
