TWO EXPLORATIONS

This piece consists of a technical, timbrical and musical exploration of two of the most important and delicate aspects for snare drum. 

It has two independent movements: the first being an exploration of the roll and the second, an exploration of flams and drags. In each movement, the player should display extreme dynamic changes, time signature changes and a variety of diverse sounds apart from the correct choice of sticking to achieve clarity and flow in the interpretation.
